Are you an experienced Information Analyst who is looking for a new challenge in a dynamic environment? Then this is your vacancy!
As an information analyst, your main responsibility is to translate business needs into functional and technically useful solutions. You are therefore the translator of business questions into functional issues. Better than anyone else, you know how to ask the right questions. You are not on the surface, but will dig deep to understand an map all business processes. You recognise dependencies, trends and problems and know how processes and systems are connected to each other. You advise your team with the right and most pragmatic solution. You are highly skilled in challenging the business departments to get clear what they need and what the added value is for them in these requirements. You also have a leading role in guiding them to determine the right priority. Furthermore, you know how to translate complex issues into clear wireframes. You are part of the IT team, which means that you contribute to the development process. Writing and enriching the user-stories is therefore one of your main tasks. Also describing the information flows, processes and final solutions.

But what makes this role really challenging?
You will work closely with the IT team and share your vision with them. Together with the business, IT manager and Architect, you will think about the landscape and its future. You know how to advice the business thoroughly in the choices that have to be made. All your choices are in favour of the continuity of the systems. Besides that, you also know how to answer business' questions correctly and in a user-friendly way.

Team
Working hard together with a lot of fun, that is what we do. The IT department consists of around 35 highly motivated colleagues, which are working together into multiple smaller teams. A good atmosphere and sociability is very important within our organisation.

What do we expect from you?
You are an experienced Information Analyst with strong communication skills, and you are able to have a good conversation to bring out the right information. Your ambition is unstoppable and you continuously like to develop yourself into your field.
You are used to work on complex applications in an informal atmosphere. You are good at your job and understand the principle of a healthy workload combined with fun and collegiality. Besides working hard, you are also in for a drink once in a while. You are coachable and know how to give others feedback. Together with your team leader, you will also work on your own development.

Profile

  • You have at least a relevant bachelor degree, preferably in an IT-related direction
  • You have experience working in Agile projects
  • You are familiar with writing user-stories and acceptance criteria
  • You are familiar with translating complex flows in to diagrams
  • You have experience with working in Jira and confluence
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role
  •  A Product-Owner, Scrum Master or IREB/IIBA certificate is considered a plus
  • Experience with a large complex architectural landscape / software development is a plus
  • You are fluent in English both verbally and in writing
  • You are not shocked by one of the many sweet treats which are shared in the office
